We learned a lot from this test. Please carefully re-read the text and I think you will find that most of your questions were answered in the text.
Aloha,
RobertZen Watermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04991107799679502367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44859485200856782.post-67030082955275003382012-12-07T16:28:11.748-10:002012-12-07T16:28:11.748-10:00You are doing a great service by posting these tes...You are doing a great service by posting these test results, however I'm confused by the testing conditions and terms used to describe the results.

downwind? from the pics you posted it looked as if it was hardly enough to say it was downwind or upwind. I think in true downwind conditions the boards would perform very differently then recorded, especially because they are all flat water race boards which downwind is not.

How do you critique a race board without all out racing? part throttle is not a true test of "race" speed. I understand the paddlers shouldn't be winded for consistent results, but how would you know without bringing the board up to it's max hull speed? this sounds as if it was a rushed test. perhaps a long rest period between boards would yield better "race" results. or a longer duration to conduct the actual test would yield more accurate results.

as far as the terms used, im confused. you say fast & slow about the same board (1st one) and you say fast, but pushes water?

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44859485200856782.post-62584199357125776392012-01-17T19:51:38.945-10:002012-01-17T19:51:38.945-10:00Sure, I will have Alex contact you, his custom pad...Sure, I will have Alex contact you, his custom paddles are great.Zen Watermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04991107799679502367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44859485200856782.post-31961154343816795762012-01-17T19:19:08.640-10:002012-01-17T19:19:08.640-10:00IS THERE A WAY TO GET A HOLD OF ALEX NIX CAN U HAV...IS THERE A WAY TO GET A HOLD OF ALEX NIX CAN U HAVE HIM EMAIL ME AT ASHLEYDCLARK1985@YAHOO.COMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
